About this download
Calmer family dinners, and what to tell your child's doctor about eating.
This is not a guide to getting your child to eat more foods. That is a job for the pediatrician, an OT or an SLP. This is about the twenty minutes around the food: the room, the routine, and the notes that help the people who can help.
Inside (11 pages, PDF, US Letter):
- Know which problem you have: the setting or the eating, and who looks at what
- Map your dinner, minute by minute
- Things to change that aren't the food, one at a time for seven days
- Two-week food log: saw it, touched it, tasted it, ate it
- What my child eats now, by texture and color, for the doctor
- What's changed, what the table looks like, and questions to ask
These pages record, organize and prepare. Your BCBA writes the plan.
Before you buy
How do I get the files?
Shopify emails a download link within a minute of checkout. The link stays in that email, so keep it. If it doesn't arrive, check spam, then write to us using the footer.
Can I edit it?
Printable PDFs print as-is. Editable items open in Canva or Google Docs, as listed under what you receive.
Is this treatment advice?
No. Everything on the shelf is a template or educational material. Your child's team decides what fits your child.
Is it right for my situation?
Read 'who it may help' and the page previews. If it isn't a fit, don't buy it; the free ABC logger is here either way.
Refunds?
Downloads can't be returned, but if something is broken or not as described, write to us and we'll make it right.
